To help you quickly master the power of the ASL 5000® Lung Solution, we offer hands-on training at your facility, as well as live distance training via web conference.
Training is conducted by one of our Clinical Educators Jessica Dietz, MS, RRT-ACCS; or Justina Gerard, BSRC, MBA, RRT. An IngMar Medical technical product specialist will walk you through the initial set up of the equipment several days in advance of the training to ensure that all systems are go.
Earn Continuing Education Credits
Both our customer-site and live distance training courses have been approved for Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) credit by the American Association for Respiratory Care. They may also be submitted for recertification for the Society for Simulation in Healthcare’s Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and CHSOS (Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist) professional certification.

This hands-on, interactive training is conducted using your own SimMan®/SimBaby™ and ASL 5000® Lung Solution with seven hours of instruction (break time excluded).

- Introduction to ventilator waveform analysis and modes of ventilation (if needed)
- Understanding the equation of motion
- Connecting your manikin to the ASL 5000®

- Running and saving scenarios
This hands-on interactive training is conducted via web conference by one of IngMar Medical’s Clinical Educators. You can follow along using all of your own equipment, ask questions, and share your screen.
(2 hours CRCE credit)

- Overview of basic respiratory mechanics (if needed)
- Understanding the equation of motion
- Managing the ASL 5000® Lung Solution in LLEAP
