Patient Safety Awareness Week ’16
Patient Safety Awareness Week is an initiative created by the National Patient Safety Foundation designed to mark a dedicated time and platform to increase awareness about patient safety among health professionals and the public. This year, Patient Safety Week is celebrated March 13-19. Here at IngMar Medical, patient safety is at the forefront of everything we do.
“IngMar Medical helps clinicians enhance patient safety by providing respiratory simulation tools for learning. We can put clinicians into situations that they see in real practice without the chance of doing harm to a real patient. This helps clinicians gain hands-on experience and knowledge in a safe setting. An example of this is running a ventilator emergency simulation module using IngMar Medical’s RespiSim® System. We give the learner an opportunity to respond to an emergency situation; so when one occurs in real life, they’ll be ready.”
